Don’t worry: The Patriots will be back
After a third Super Bowl loss, you’d understand if he and Belichick had enough. No one is questioning their legacy. They’ve done all they can do; if anyone has earned a retirement, it’s these two. They can go and head to the golf course and live comfortably for the rest of their days as New England heroes.
But their refusal to do just that is at the root of what makes them who they are. It’s all wrapped up together. Belichick and Brady won’t walk away because they’re so great, and part of what makes them so great is that they won’t walk away.
Tom Brady and the Patriots have a list of slogans about doing their jobs and planning for every possible scenario at every moment of any game. They’re easy to dislike because they can withstand your favorite team’s best effort for most of 60 minutes and invalidate it on their way to another 锟斤拷 yawn 锟斤拷 amazing win.
The Eagles blowing a 10-point lead wasn’t quite as meme-able as 28-3, but it would have been just as awful of a crap sandwich as the one the internet has been serving up to Falcons fans for the last year.

The voters have spoken, and the Dion Lewis Womens Jersey Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 2018 class has been chosen. Randy Moss, Brian Dawkins, Brian Urlacher, Ray Lewis, Terrell Owens, Jerry Kramer, Robert Brazile, and Bobby Beathard are all in, the Hall of Fame announced Saturday.
Elite Youth Amara Darboh Jersey Dawkins is the only player in NFL history to record more than 25 sacks, picks, and forced fumbles. Those numbers speak for themselves, and his inclusion seems like a no-brainer. But this was Dawkins’ second season of eligibility, and he was snubbed by voters in 2017. The voters made it right this year, and the Eagles’ leader on and off the field will take his rightful place in Canton.
Lewis was expected to make it in on his first try, and he did. Lewis was the heart and soul of the Ravens’ defense throughout his 17-year career. Lewis’ selection was nearly a foregone conclusion, despite the fact that he was charged with murder in 2000. Lewis pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice. But the voters stayed focused on the fact that Lewis may be the best middle linebacker to ever take the field in the NFL.
